Buoy and Oyster is a family run restaurant & seafood bar overlooking the beach in Margate, Kent. Established in November 2015 by Simon Morriss & his wife Nadine & undergoing major refurbishments in 2019 to create an open plan theatre kitchen & seafood bar dining area.

Located in both the garden of England & on the British coastline, we have access to a fantastic supply of local fresh ingredients which is showcased in our seasonally changing menus. Simon, Craig and our team work closely with our local suppliers to create our menus. By using Kent based fishermen all fish & shellfish are usually landed and on your plate the very same day & our Canterbury based butchers ensures all of our game & meat are reared in local farms.
Local & Sustainable Fishing
We acknowledge the responsibility of protecting the future of the oceans and work closely with our fishmonger to ensure our menu echos the seasons & has been responsibly sourced. The majority of our menu will come straight from one of their 18 day boats which fish the waters off of Margate, Whistable, Ramsgate, Folkestone and Broadstairs.
